| As you read "Let's Make Music! An Interactive Musical Trip Around The World", a world of creative activities will come to life at your children's fingertips. Each activity has been carefully designed for the education and enjoyment of young children and those who guide them. "Let's Make Music!" brings arts, crafts, movement, games, world culture, and music together with recycling! Have fun while you help care for our planet. In this book, you'll find easy-to-follow instructions for making and playing percussion instruments from around the world. The photographs, patterns, clear language, and music and rhythm lines will help you and your children be successful immediately. Your musical instruments will look and sound wonderful. They also make exciting gifts. After an instrument is constructed, play along with the accompanying CD. You can "travel" to ten countries (Mexico, Chile, Australia, China, India, Spain, England, Germany/Austria, Nigeria, Sioux Nation), singing new lyrics to each country's traditional melodies. Each set of lyrics gives children insight into the culture, geography, or animal life of the various countries. The recording features musical instruments and arrangements native to each culture, with easy-to-hear percussion parts to make playing along easy and fun. Use "Let's Make Music!" in whatever sequence works best for you. Whether you take the musical journey around the world and build as you go, or select projects out of sequence, we know you will have a delightful adventure. "Let's Make Music! An Interactive Musical Trip Around The World" weighs 9.92 oz. |
